Earlier this year, we announced a special release of additional homesites within Phase 2 — dubbed Phase 2.2 — that are positioned deeper into our development adjacent to the back nine. Lot 178 is one of our estate homesites at 1.28 acres, sitting along the 15th fairway with views onto the 10th green. A natural dip in topography that will remain green space provides for an extension of the lot and enlarges the acre. Meet the Team • Director Of Agronomy, Ben Lauber
Ben joined us in Spring 2024 and boasts an impressive resume of course experience, including his last 7 years helping to grow the club at Big Easy Ranch in Columbus, Texas, from the grand opening in 2016 to the grand opening of a new 18-hole golf course, The Covey in 2023. During Lauber’s time, The Covey was recently recognized by Golf Digest as the ‘Best New Golf Course in the US.’
Prior to his time at Big Easy Ranch, he established his career at Boot Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas, and Golfcrest in Pearland, Texas.
“The most satisfying aspect of being in golf course maintenance is the ability to provide players with an enjoyable and memorable experience every time they play the course,” Labuer says. “Travis Club is making this concept just too easy. Truly one of the best settings for a golf course in the entire state!”
Some fun facts about Ben:
• He is from Saint Louis and an avid Cardinals Fan
• Travis Club’s ‘mascot’ is his Great Dane, Hondo 🐾
• Outside of the office, you’ll find him outside with his family. Either exploring by hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting or enjoying a drink at one of the many breweries, distilleries, or wineries in the Hill Country.
