Lions Municipal Golf Course is the first golf course in the south to racially desegregate, hosts over 60,000 rounds of golf each year, and stages more charity tournaments than any other golf course in the Austin-area. It has been played by legends such as heavy-weight boxing champion Joe Louis, Masters champions Ben Hogan, Ben Crenshaw, Sergio Garcia & Scottie Scheffler, singer-songwriter Lukas Nelson, and actors Luke Wilson and Kyle Chandler. #SaveMuny for the history of the course, the community who loves it, and the heritage trees who have seen it all.
