Each year Muny stages more charity tournaments than any other Austin golf course, and is the home course for a dozen middle and high school teams. Lions annually hosts UIL State Tournaments, junior golf camps and is home to The Firecracker, one of the oldest and most prestigious amateur tournaments in Texas. It is imperative that all 141-acres and 18 holes are preserved and saved, so that Lions can continue to be the home to all of these events and folks from the Austin community and beyond.
